Looking to hear about how you guys play when grinding micro stakes

- SnG/Cash/MTT?
- Do you set a limit for yourself? (in terms of time, amount of tables played, etc)
- How do you handle running bad?

Uhm a bad run , I think it is handled with patience , one can not miss the baton of the game nor despair rather you can not decentralize , there are unexplained hands hands when you flip incredibly , but you must keep calm quiet and discipline of poker .

I play much what but I prefer Cash, it is small time, possible norms to earn, in any the time it is possible to abandon a table. If you are pursued by failures, it is needed to wait.

playing any games with proper bankroll managment is the key
read som articles about it - plenty of the in internet.
you can struggle swings only when you have a good bankroll
TILT managment - also good... work on it... it is even more important and a is a part good skill IMHO

Looking to hear about how you guys play when grinding micro stakes

- SnG/Cash/MTT?
- Do you set a limit for yourself? (in terms of time, amount of tables played, etc)
- How do you handle running bad?

-SnG(regular) - [ Generally TAG style of play - the goal is to have better 2 hands than my opponents when i m in the pot. Also a lot of patiance and discipline. No bluffing at all, only an ocessional Cbet or semibluff. If the table is fishy i like to play small ball and try to hit the nuts when the hand is multiway. I didnt play a lot of them but i did in the beggining when i was trying to find the format of play i was most confortable at. I played 4x 1.50$ SnGs and won 2x 1st 2x 2nd place. I didnt continue to play them becouse i found cash games more interesting and more profitable.]
-SnG(turbo) - [ Same thing but more aggresive. I would also bluff more often on the flop or turn if my hand has a decent chance to improve. Playing my position and allways taking advantage of it. I widen my shoving range against certain opponents and dont think too much about it if you suck out or have a bad beat couse turbos have much more variance. I like regulars much more couase you are able to make small mistakes and still have a chance to get back and win. I am not an expert on turbos and dont take it as the way you should play. ]
-Cash[ I make most of my money here. I started playing 4 tables at a time, then expanded to 6 and now i am back at 4 couse i moved up in stakes and i will play 4 until i feel comfortable with my play and BR. Starting the session i play the TAG style until i get familiar with the table, but before that i allways table select. Its crucial. Sometimes i would pick 1 table and where i would experiment with the LAG style of play. My BR allows me to play like that and i am litle more aggresive in general. For cash games a advize to have a bankroll to feel comfortable of making moves and trying out what is best for you. Try to find and play as much hands as you can against fish. Dont bluff to much, and value bet big. NEVER slow play at micros.
-MTTs(regular, turbo) - [ They take much more time than turbos and there are fewer of them in the lobby becouse of the time and the amount of rake they generate. I like playing turbo MTTs. Much more fish, but much more variance and bad beats. You cash around 11% of the time so the goal is to be patient and play the TAG style. Early i play fewer hands unless the table is fishy. Then i try some small ball poker. Mid stages( blinds and antees kick in) i tend to be more aggresive play more hands in position. Also stilling is a must. Late stages are a mixture of early and mid stages. Attack the big stacks with steals and get in with better against short stacks.]
- Running bad[ I just quit for a few days and try not to think about poker. Its proven to be the best way to deal with tilt. But everyone is different when it comes to this and you have to find your own way.

Normally I play two tables of tournaments or sits, with two i can analyse the players and give some notes.... And I can learn with some plays... If u put more than 8 tables you're playing like a machine, call, raise, 3 bet, fold.... And u dont't learn to much.....
Normally I play 4 tournaments a day in my vacation...

I play sng until I feel I'm losing my edge. Then I stop for the day. You have to know yourself. Are you tired, hungry, frustrated, content with the profit and unwilling to risk it?

- SnG/Cash/MTT?

Used to be SNG, then MTT, neither worked. Now focusing on cash. It's working.

- Do you set a limit for yourself? (in terms of time, amount of tables played, etc)

Unless I'm feeling daring, no more than 18 tables, I don't mind doing benders, but minimum five minute breaks every hour, two hours at max.

- How do you handle running bad?

Evaluate myself, evaluate my emotions, evaluate my thought process. If any of the above is not in the right frame of perspective, I close out and walk away until I can calm myself down to be able to think clearly and rationally. Could be an hour, could be a couple days.
