I have been playing video poker on the CC Casino as part of my "Monthly Tasks" for the Freeroll as I have done with blackjack and Ninja slots for the last two months respectively.

In the first two months, I believe I won casino cash based on a luck game (Ninja Slot) and a skill included game (BJ). This month, I am a small sample consistent loser, in a skill included poker game. I am a little perplexed by my outs/cards ratios and relating that to payout levels and got to wondering if there is a world of video poker fanatics. Are there odds calculators? Do people go on chat boards to discuss their strategies? Is this a legit winnable game in casinos (i.e. how good is "Vegas Shooter" good?)?
Payouts are:1:1 for a single pair Jacks or better, 2:1 for any two pair, 3:1 for any three of a kind.
As I see it, the primary question is, when dealt a pair lower than Jacks and two Jack or better cards, is it more profitable to keep the pair or the two overs?
