what are good playing hands for Omaha?

This is really, really dependent on your position, the table characteristics, and a bunch of other stuff. Do you expect to see the flop multi-way? Will it be heads up? Will you have position?

In general: high cards, high suits, big pairs, and connected cards. The more of those qualities you have, the better. But, it all depends.
