Hello everyone,
I am playing on pokerstars like 1 year , but I still didn't have good results.
I'm trying to play such of good combinations only , but I still losee , even with them.
I would like to ask , and even , maybe someone can give me some good ideas , to improve my game skills ?
I like to play MTT 0.50$ 1$ limits , and freerolls , because I don't think that I am so good to play biggest limit , because I still losse.
I think that I am not so lucky as another players.

Thanks! God Bless <3

Hi! I think that skills are much more important than luck. So all you have to do is to improve your skills. The best way is to practice, read books, watch youtube videos and live streams on twitch and use training software.
I can recommend you to read "Polished poker" book. What about software - try to use leak buster and ace poker drills.

Leak buster and Poker drills , I am installing them right now on my computer , and I hope these programs will help me a bit.
Thanks you for your answer , and for these things what you recommended to me.

Also with the books and videos, don't attempt to play all the tricks you're learning at the same time. Take it slow, and just focus on one thing at a time.

So a good place to start is to work on the hands you are opening from each position. If it takes you 1 session or if it takes you 20, stick to that one topic until its burnt into your brain, and then move on to the next.

Also a big thing to remember, and something I had trouble with initially, is to not try and focus on your river play initially. Pre-flop and flop are the most important when you are learning. Once you start to improve on those, you'll find a lot your river decisions become easier, because you've kept yourself out of uncomfortable positions pre-flop and flop.

One thing I want to ask you. Do you tilt bad when you lose at everything you try? If you do, you are going to have to get it under control or nothing will work. Leave every hand behind and go to the next one. So real good advice these guys are giving you. GL to you

Hi PapaC,
Well, sometimes I am really so aggresive when I losse with an hand , and my reaction is to keep it on my mind to be more carefully next time.
Since sometimes I really can't control my mind , but I am trying to learn , and to learn .
My friends , they playing , and they already have great results , but they have 3 years on this game , and they told me that I didn't have patience , and I am working on it also.
Thanks guys for your great comments I hear a lot of good things.

Welcome to CC streetkid100. You are in the right place to learn. We all been where you are at one time or another. Like GDBPoker said, you will have to take it one thing at a time. Go slow and don't put a lot of money out there until you feel better about your game. Patience is very important. I have sit for the first hour of a MTT and folded 90% of my hands, and the other 10% just kept me even. Last of all, tilt has no place in poker if you want to win. There is nothing you can do about any hand that's past, but you can learn from them. But while you are playing, all you need to think about is the hand you are in. GL to you

As for books I'd recommend "Crushing the MicroStakes" by BlackRain79.

As for the forum. I would highly recommend posting some of your hands in the hand review section. Especially the hands where you're having trouble with on the river.

I guarantee that if you take the advice from that section you'll improve to the point where you wouldn't recognize your game anymore. :)

GDBPoker brings up a great point. I used to subscribe to a poker magazine and what I would do is read one strategy lesson at a time. I read one, practice it for a bit, then move to the next. Sometimes I liked the advice, sometimes I didn't but I always learned a new way of looking at the same hands.
