Hey guys!

I would like some comments on my stats for my first 3k hands of cash games (yes I know small sample) but so far im down $60 (partly due to attempting to play limits I wasnt rolled for 25 and 50nl) 2600 of these hands have been at 2nl split between FR and 6 max

If anybody could point out any glaring leaks it would be appreciated!!!

So far I think my main leak and where I have lost the most money is going to showdown with top pair (-$20)

I know I should be playing tight ABC poker but I just cant seem to do it >_< I believe I have a sound understanding of pre-flop play, but post flop, if I miss the flop im usually attempting to just fold as you cant bluff at these stakes effectively. I do admit to calling down all streets more than I should chasing draws.

Anyhow, heres the stats

Thanks in advance :)

just took a quick look but your at 20/12 preflop. 20% vpip but you can def raise more preflop. I think 20/17 is pretty standard for TA. Fold more in the small blind, 26% is pretty high. Your the first to act postflop making it a terrible position to play alot of hands from.

Sadly, that information is completely useless due to how mixed it is. 2nl is going to need a TOTALLY different approach from 25nl and 50nl, and FR and 6max are two very different worlds. If you broke them out into seperate FR and 6max, and just the 2nl, then you could get better info. However, as you said, the sample is really too small to say too much of anything about, especially after its cut and then halved by the above stipulations.

I'll tell you to crush 2nl and 5nl I ran in the vicinity of 20/5 with an agg factor that was superlow. Just outplay the hell out of them postflop, and know that a ton of the players will get it in on a crazy overshove on the river with some very weak hands just out of curiosity. I just limped every strong drawing hand, called down when i had odds, and then jammed the river, took stack, repeat as needed. Due to the easy stacking I highly recommend taking advantage of the now $5 (was 4 when i was coming up) max at 2nl and $10 max buy in at 5nl at PS, when rolled for it.

Do BRM properly, or be prepared to keep on rebuying. Your choice, but its one or the other.

Thanks for the replies guys.

Yeah after posting the chart, I realized it cant really be analyzed properly for the game I'm currently playing.

I can definately understand why players pick up bad habbits from playing the micros, as since Ive stopped being as aggressive pre-flop, my win rate has slowly increased. Still got a long way too go to get back the other $$ I lost at higher buy-ins however.

BRM im generally good with. I just decided I'ld try out skills I had 'learnt' over the last 2 months that I cant apply to 2nl and see how they went. The level at 25nl didnt seem that much better than 2nl to be honest, except obviously I dont have the bankroll to weather the variance.

Back to grinding :)
