What is the best way to start a bankroll from basically nothing?

If you've got at least ChromeStar on stars the weekly Saturday freerolls seem pretty decent if you've got any knowledge of MTT's. Any other thoughts?

I played in many poker rooms , all on the first deposit give a bonus , but in my opinion the most comfortable poker client including mobile versions of this pokerstars as they carried out the highest number of promotions and tournaments with multi-million dollar guarantees for players of any level.

Stick with as many freerolls as you can get into, if you are learning will give you experience before you start playing paid games. In my opinion these tend to have better played poker as there is something to loose by each player. Most freerolls require a password now so you may have to signup to sites like this one which i think is pretty good :)

I'd say PokerStars any day of the week, it's simply the best poker client available both on PC and Mobile.

if you are playing on pokerstars you have alot more options-you need to place in a free roll of some sort, thats the easy part -you then have to turn that into a workable bankroll-you then have to maintain it,little by little it will grow-proper bankroll management will get you to a point where you can withdraw-ive done this myself in a 2 month span years ago on fulltilt-one a few freerolls turned that into even bigger winning in 2 months time i withdrew 1k -ive know others thru the years that have done the same thing or bettered it outright-good luck on your journy may the poker goods be with you-its a great ride going from zero to hero

ACR has some pretty decent publicly available freerolls. They also have "On-Demand" $10 freerolls that start anytime there are 270 players registered.

Can't beat that.

I used to hear bad things about BetOnline, but they have a LOT of freerolls, but much larger fields than ACR. Still, a lot of them, and I think you could definitely build a roll either place without depositing.

If you're not in the USA, you obviously have a lot more options.

Hi Mircea Craciun and welcome to Cardschat. I used to play at PokerStars years ago and I want ask you how many players join those freerolls? GL to you

Sorry for the late response and thank you!

The fields are insane in some PS freerolls. 10$ gtd in a 5000 field (where the winner gets more than 50% of the winnings).

The VIP level freerolls are ok, 10-15k fields with 10k gtd. So a min cash of 1$ is pretty nice if you don't sucker out. Bad part is they're weekly, not daily. So if you're not being a nit and pushing KK+ only you might end up staying on the bench for another week.

I've had my fair share of winnings in 2015 (biggest cash was a 320$ win on a 4.40 8max, never had more than 10$ bankroll so I guess that was a good year), but now that I can't seem to put my bankroll up once again for this year I'm having quite a hard time playing (being a student in a poor country doesn't give you much opportunities, I find it hard to save even 10 bucks). I need help finding the best freerolls out there that can start your bankroll. I've got both pokerstars and 888 accounts with some levels on them so I have access to a few premium features. I just need some info on what's out there. This is how I got on this forum but the freerolls here are a bit too hard to join. You need at least two months to get your account eligible. But I'm starting to like this place, so I'll stick around just lurking and posting :)

If anybody has some tips they are welcomed. The best I've got so far for anybody in my situation is joining the PS open skill league, grinding the 10k field and cashing 0.02$ in the top 100. Then you can go on and join the 990 sng (if PS calls it a sit n go I'll go ahead and do so myself) and cashing in the top 50 for 0.10$. That's as far as I got , suckered out on KK against pocket 6's on the 0.10$ sng with a field of 360.

The grind takes about 8-12 hours, but if you manage to beat these insane fields with jokes as prizepools you'll end up with a few dollars which can start your bankroll quite nicely.

If you need any help feel free to private message me. I helped a few friends get into the game by coaching them on live micro games and they did fine. But don't expect much, I still have a lot to learn.

Don't join Betonline. I tried it when summer started, got myself up to ~150$ from nothing. Then I found out I can't transfer/withdraw the money (no transfer option and they won't allow withdrawing in my country).

Ended up giving my account to my brother to burn the money while learning to play. Such a waste.

What "free roll of some sort" are you talking about here? I've mentioned above the insane fields and trash prizepools I have experienced so far with them.

well you say from "scratch" so I would gess you have either very limited or no bankroll that means promotions and freerolls. they have a lot of swing but playing ABC and slowling getting to bubble here and there you would buildup to something. after having ~100$ you can divers in to more "stable" cash games and grind multitables, although you can still focus on mtt's just follow the standart ~40 buyins BR managment and you should be good.
It will take time as more often than not you will finish will some chump change like 10c-1$ but in few month in can get to a decent BR to play with.
Obviously if you could deposite something it would make your life easier and "concistancy" would come faster.

As I've said earlier, playing the freerolls I know and min cashing means beating fields of 5k+ players for 2 cents, 1k players for 10 cents and a long long ride, just to sucker out after 10+ hours of grinding on a 83% hand.

I have no access to a deposit at the moment, have to pay for my exams in September. The point of this thread is to mark out the BEST freerolls out there.

Instead of PM you I'll say this so everyone can read it. Many here believe Full Flush is this and that, but I've been playing there four years and I've had no problem with them and it's no secret here that I promote the site on my own every chance I get and I'm tell you Mircea Craciun they have the best freerolls than any US poker site I know of. I'm talking about some at $200 and some a little lower than that, like $150 and one $100 Then there are a bunch of $25 ones, Also there are many 1000 points freerolls and you can use them to buy into other MTTs These run everyday and there is only about 600 players joining them I even play some, because they are worth it. Also, these freerolls do not take a week to finish and when you cash in one it's not 10 cent. I remember those at stars. 6000 players.

There has been some things going on at FF. I think the site changed hands and it was rough for awhile. But I hung in there and road it out. I didn't want to cash out any of my money because I been working my way to a goal I set for myself, and I'm almost there. Anyway, thing on there are coming together. They have a pretty good field of players at the cash tables. Now days the MTT GTDs are being covered. I played in a $200 today and the prize pool got almost to $400. Even the $750 is getting close. I like to see the GTD cover and more so there because they have give and give and sooner or later the site has to make a profit. Anyway, the site seems like it is geared for low level players. There are a lot that plays 2nl

Before I for get. If you try the site, download it from here. That might help CC some
I've never got a str8 answer, but back when I download FF from here I could play in a $100 freeroll every Monday night at 8pm, but now I think anyone can play in it. There are not many players that join it, Probably 250 or less. I won the damn thing a week or so ago. And besides the money, the top 3 got $10 tickets to play whatever.
Yeah I do get long winded, so I think I've got my points across. GL everyone

the $10 dollar on demand freerolls on acr and pretty good, usually between
400-800 players, takes about 3 hrs to get itm, tenth pays .55, first pays 2.50.
once you cash in on of these i recommend the $100 gtd tournament for a .10
buy in. acr has one every day that starts at approx 4:20 pst with 2 hrs of late reg. good luck

Freerolls and no deposit bonuses are the only way to build a br from scratch.

freerolls are all over especially if your not from united states find some you like build your roll move on into better mtt's i prefer longer events why like wpn the best im good with 5 hour late reg's most dont like that cause is a long time to play etc.. and has pluses and minuses you can play 8 hours and win pennies to the dollar or not win at all:( this happens but is also a lot of the time that the ship comes in and you final table and it goes way past the guarantee:)
