Cards higher that a ten in value are considered big cards, with two suited ones better than two unsuited ones. Because of their higher value you should think of them as possible openers. You need to tighten your starting criteria and only play them from late positions with fewer players in the pot and no raises. Should you pair up on the flop, your kicker takes on critical importance, so bear in mind that a hand of A 4 will be beaten by A 5 when you're thinking of opening.
