I have spoken to a couple of members regarding my play and I thought I was a TAG player but it turns out I was a very loose-passive player; not the player I want to be! Anyway, I have had to go back to basics and set out a guideline as to what hands I will enter a pot with and a few if/else options depending on the action on the table thus far. This is it and I am open to criticism and suggestions (I have had some which I am really appreciative of) and if this helps anyone else then I am happy also:

Code:
UTG
Raise with...
AA-TT
AK-AQ

Blinds
If someone has called, raise with...
88+ or AJ+
call with...
87s+ or KTs+
re-raise with...
QQ+ or AK

MP
avoid limping
raise with...
77+, AJo, TQs+
if someone has raised, call with...
99+, TQs+, 89s+
re-raise with...
TT+, AQo+

LP

I think a set range is fine at first, but at some point what you open with and from where should have a direct relation to table dynamics, and your cards will not necessarily be the main factor in your decision to bet or raise.

I have to go, but will give my thoughts on this more later.

I appreciate it. And i agree that the table dynamics will have an influence. At the moment, I do not have a HUD (goal number 1 of my bankroll grind is to grind enough moolah to get a HUD) but obviously with stats on certain players, I can expand my range depending on who is sitting to my left.
