I'm playing Poker for about 1 year. Read some books and regular magazines.
I think poker, especially NL Hold'em, is a great great game. Was trying out a lot of STGs and MTTs and most of the time lost my money.

Now I want to try a new way up.

Think the only way to be a good poker player and earning money is from the bottom to the top, so i began to play the micros on fulltilt. (0,10$ 180pl turbo) Last 4 weeks i made a profit of more than $25. Yes, it took me 4 weeks to earn about $25! Hm, is not much, right?
Fact is that my bankroll does not allow me to play bigger STGs.

But I think I am on a good way and my style of playing Poker isn't the baddest.

Please tell me what u think about that, I am thankful for every answer!!

TYVM and always a good hand 4 all!!

$25 profit in 4 weeks playing micros is good, playing private freerolls helps with bankroll since there are alot less donks, aorund

$25 is definately a lot at low levels like that. Heck there are players playing 200NL that wish they made $25 over the last 4 weeks instead of losing a few hundred, lol. As long as you are winning its all good. If you build your bankroll up enough to move up in stakes, then feel free to move up....but if your bankroll drops back down, then move back down in stakes. Just make sure to play where you are comfortable and play the stakes you can afford.

Bankroll management is key. If you can't beat the nanos, chances are, you can't beat anything higher anyways. If your roll is at $25, I think you're ready ready for $1 SnG's. Just if you fall below $20, you might be best off dropping back down to nanos.

When you're playing at extremely low limits, you should concentrate more on your play than on the money you make. If you're thinking about making money at such low limits, I'm sure there are much better non-poker activities where you can make a much better per hour profit.
