To start playing Sit and Go's best to start with 9 max. You can see the specifics of the game, to practice their style of play at the same table. After five games, you can continue to play 45 max, and with a few tables, sdes game is a little different, be careful and rather agressive. 90 and 180 max to start too hard, a large number of players and the length of the tournament to start the game is not suitable.

Have at least 50 buyins if you play 9mans, but if you play 45s or 180s I would definitly reccomend even 100 buyins, because those games are much more variance affected...
Choose beetwen these options one that suits you best,.

Playing Sit and's Go should less than 10% of one's bankroll, Sometimes there are leg register for Sit and Go that cause opportunity reduce to win. At that time less than 5% many be satisfy.

Try and will see does this type of Poker suitable for you or not.
5% of your bankroll to buy-in. Tight play will help you sit to final table.
So, good luck!

Playing a sit n go 9man you should be playing with no more then 2% of your bankroll but is person dependant. If you only play for fun then maybe give yourself 5%. Anything like a 45+ sng i would suggest 100buyins as the variance is much more greater.

I advise you to listen to those who recommend playing with no more than 2% of your bankroll or 50 buy ins for 6-9 max STTs, and to have at least 100 buy ins if you plan to play 45s-180s. I use to grind STTs before Black Friday, and if you are good there is as much profit to be made as their in in cash games. It is a system. Figure out what works. You'll need to figure out when to be aggressive, when to tighten up and how chip stacks influence absolutely everything.
If this is your fist experience grinding SNGs, I recommend grinding either 6 or 9 max, whichever suits your style of play best. These are what will slowly but surely build your bankroll if you are a winning player. Begin to mix in the 45s, 90s, and 180s as you become more comfortable with the format and confident in your play.

I don't feel I put enough emphasis on this in my previous post. I recommend very strict bankroll management. No more than 2% of your bankroll, or 50 buy ins for single tables, and no more than 1% or 100 buy ins for larger SNGs. I wouldn't hesitate to have 200 buy ins to be honest. Variance can kill your bankroll if you are ill prepared. If you have a string of bad sessions and don't have enough buy ins, lower your stakes until you build back up. And NEVER, EVER, EVER, try to win back money after a bad session by talking yourself into playing 1 game of higher stakes to get back to even. It is a losing play.
Best of luck to you

Personally for me
2% of bankroll for 6-9max SNG
1-2% of bankroll for 45-180, like most ppl said

Start playing 1 table at a time. Become comfortable with the format first and make sure you are profitable at the game. Otherwise if you add in additional tables too early, you will only lose money at a much faster rate.

Once you are confident in your play, add one table and continue playing as such for a length of time you find sufficient. See if you are able to keep track of all the action. You will likely find that playing 2 tables is just as easy as playing a single table. Continue to add tables 1 at a time as long as you feel comfortable. If you become overwhelmed, play one less table. If you notice your profits declining, play less tables. You will find your personal sweet spot eventually.

Turbo or Regular Sit and Go?

This is strictly a personal preference. Games with regular 10 minute levels will reduce your variance as each player will have time to use a higher degree of skill to their advantage. In turbos you enter the fold/shove faze much faster and you can often end up flipping once you are near the bubble and ITM.

I like both formats. But when I used to grind STTs I far preferred turbos. Reason being is I could play nearly twice as many games per hour. If you are comfortable with the situations you will encounter in late game STTs you can often make your opponent equally uncomfortable. Once you play them enough you will know how to wield your chip stack like a weapon and use it to pummel your opponents into submission.

However, variance at the Turbos can occasionally rear its ugly head. Keep this is mind. It is why bankroll management is so important.

think 180s are probably the most profitable, but they take the most time

its all personal preference and skill
find what you enjoy, suits your time, or you win at and stick with it,
different strategies for the different games
so its best to stick with just one type til youre ready for others
every game is profitable if you win;)
