I know its brief but any advice on what your playstyle should be like on the final table. when someone shoves after the flop when roughly 30% of my chips in the pot and i havent hit regardless of whether i think he has hit or not i find it hard to call, this happens often. for example, on the button i raise to 1k with blinds 200/400 with jack, queen suited, villian calls. when the flop comes in ace, 4, 8. Rainbow. is it right to fold? maybe a bad example but, ultimatly i am struggling with the last 5 players.
This is interesting. You shouldn't ever be in a situation where you put 30% of your stack in preflop and fold. If someone raises into you and it costs 30% of your stack to call, you must shove or fold (barring very specific situations that I won't discuss here). Similarly, if you are open raising for 30% of your stack you should shove all your chips in preflop instead.
Just study, study, study and everything will come.
