As ABC rule goes slow play is good is when you've got nuts... or something very colse. It's a mental trap that just because you have top pair you kust have to win.
Slow-roll is done so your opponen get hes 2 pair, low set, "wheel"... things you can get value from(double-, triple-...up). If you limp JJ, flop goes 726 rainbow (your op got paired 2) and you check - you just gave you opponent a FREE out for set ot low street. Turn goes 9 you limp. you just gave your op bad BUT cheap pot odds
. river goes 2 (op has set of 22) you limp he raise-shoves or 3 bet-you 4bet-he 5bet... and you basicaly dug your own grave with the top pair.
Now on the othre hand if you had 77 PRF into 726 flop giving you a top set, into full house on the river, thats where you START to slow role, not earlier
