Hi, I've been lookin part of outs and odds but I am not able to apply it on the game. There was a table which placed outs that had different depending on the hand and odds ratio of flop to turn and river. My question is what are the really important to ask? Thanks in advance.

In lay mans term.

Knowing outs, you can calculate the percentage of hitting your hand. In the process, you know if you are underdog at the moment or not.

Knowing pot odds, you would know if calling is a mistake/profitable or not.

Reasoning call with implicit

my hand 5c 6c
flop Qh 4d 2c

pot $ 20.
villain gets $ 10. We are $ 50 more.
The remaining folded around.

Pot odds -> 3: 1
My hand is 4 outs (straight draw) -> 11: 1
The call to $ 10

I consider implied odds sensing that it could get the $ 50 if hooked the ladder. Therefore pot odds could intuit 8: 1, insufficient to deal with the 11: 1. I do not consider it favorably for the moment have implied in these circumstances.

However I assessed the possibility of getting a clover. If so, there are 13, 4 and would have left and one more (the three) and I've told my outs. 8 therefore favor more letters I and my outs would 4 + 8 = 12 giving me odds against a 3: 1. In this situation if you evaluate the implied odds.

Is it reasonable to pay $ 10 to have a 17% (8/47) chance of setting the table of 3: 1 vs 11: 1-8: 1 vs 3: 1? And what $ 2 or $ 20? How is quantified and reasons of the situation to make the right decision?

thank you very much

In the professional's strategy, knowledge of odds and outs are an absolute must. I would say that learning those particular sets of numbers can be incredibly profitable. But I don't know this for myself. : S

It is important, but you do not need to do many calculations. Just memorize the common spots (charts are everywhere). Do not take bets where your pay off is less than the odds of hitting your hand. You will save a TON of money. Also do not assume you will stack someone when you hit a draw. Most often you will not.

Implied Odds HELP !!

Just wanted to know one thing above. If axle: I'm the flop and I have a pott odd of 4-1 and my hand has some odds of 5 to 1. It is correct to pay for implied odds if you know the opponent on the next card will make another bet right? ie if you pay but the opponent in the following letter not only gives bet and check, then the implied are not corrrectas and we had paid no?

- In short, is correct pay for implicit if you know that the opponent will pay in the next street ....
