Reasoning call with implicit
my hand 5c 6c
flop Qh 4d 2c
pot $ 20.
villain gets $ 10. We are $ 50 more.
The remaining folded around.
Pot odds -> 3: 1
My hand is 4 outs (straight draw) -> 11: 1
The call to $ 10
I consider implied odds sensing that it could get the $ 50 if hooked the ladder. Therefore pot odds could intuit 8: 1, insufficient to deal with the 11: 1. I do not consider it favorably for the moment have implied in these circumstances.
However I assessed the possibility of getting a clover. If so, there are 13, 4 and would have left and one more (the three) and I've told my outs. 8 therefore favor more letters I and my outs would 4 + 8 = 12 giving me odds against a 3: 1. In this situation if you evaluate the implied odds.
Is it reasonable to pay $ 10 to have a 17% (8/47) chance of setting the table of 3: 1 vs 11: 1-8: 1 vs 3: 1? And what $ 2 or $ 20? How is quantified and reasons of the situation to make the right decision?
thank you very much
