When in a Hold 'Em tournament with a very low M, such as 5 or less, what kinds of hands do you consider worthy to shove?

ATC???? Do you have time for anything else

edit: 5 M = 5 rotations?? If so 5 is a good enough time imo but stillI'd say suited connectors any pair ect.

anytime you can be the first one to enter the pot besides the blinds. I believe Harrington called it "first in vigor".

sorry if i wasnt clear, M is your stack divided by Big Blind + Small Blind
stack/BB+SB
for example:
if your stack was 500 chips, and the blinds are 50/100 then your M would be 3 (500/150)

I try not to do so much math. I usually start loosening up and shoving if my stack gets under 6-10 Big Blinds and I get Ace-anything over a 6, any two face cards(including 10's), any medium connectors and just about any suited connector, or face card suited with anything else. The only time I may not do that is if I am close to being in the money.

Sometimes it's just a feeling on a table. Sometimes 9-10 off suit feels good and and you play it alot and sometimes I don't play it at all. It's a bit strange but just try it...

if there are no ante's then wait for a hand that has decent equity against a random hand, any Ax, and two broadway cards, and suited connectors, and pocket pair, etc.

It depends on the time in the tourney... if late like on the bubble then you would wait until like 2 but if early i would wait till like maybe 4...

Also it depends on your objective...if you play to win the tournament then don't wait past 5, maybe wait to play a hand with 5 to 1 pot odds and go all-in no matter what you have.

This really depends on you, the blind structure and the way your luck has been going. The pros will tell you to never give up and wait on a hand. However online tournaments are fast, like 10 minutes blinds, so you can't wait to long.
