Should I play more cautiously with a limited bankroll?

if it is not so small that it makes no sense to even protect. In the case of cash constraints, you must sacrifice the aggression in the game. Survival in such conditions is more important factor. That is why with a limited bankroll should play tight.

Do you agree with me

Looking for a cook stage of the game, of course it is difficult to play with a small bankroll, you need to wait for a very strong hand

If you play too cautiously you won't go far in the game usually. You might have a decent position overall but I doubt you will make the cash. I have tried the ultra conservative approach if a few freerolls with about 1200 players. I did well finishing in the top 10% but I was a long way from cashing. I think you should try a semi conservative game being willing to take a chance once in a while but with a limit on how many chips that you are willing risk.:D:D

In order to aggressively increase your bankroll, you need to create a reputation in time.

You gotta avoid high variance spots as much as you can If you have a limited bankroll, ofc thats not ideal, so I recommend just going down on stakes instead.

That depends on what you want. I know some people tryed to play without bankroll managment. They go for a high limits in hope to win really fast some cash. Usually it ends with loosing their money. Of course, some lucky guys can win something.
If you want to save your bankroll, sure better to play only the limits you can play. When your bankroll will be increased - you can safety go for a higher limits. You just must understand that this is a right time to move higher limits. You must feel this.

Caution it is necessary to play with any bankroll, but then the second time you're in this case, it will be bound in the game.

I'm going to tell you a story.
Once upon a time I sat down at a 1/2 cash game where the buy in was 100 dollars. It was brand new table so all the players were coming in at the same time. Right off the bat a guy in middle position proceeded to go all in on the first hand. I knew EXACTLY what he was doing and that he had nothing in his had. I don't remember what I had but I do know it was better than what he had. I wanted to call his all in so bad, just to show him that I was aware of what he was attempting to do, and that it wasnt going to work on me at least. However I was in college at the time, and had been on a bit of a losing streak and the losses were starting to affect me harder and harder. So I had to be very careful as I only had one buy in for the night. So I folded, as did everyone else at the table. When it finally gets back around to the raiser, he grins, flips over 93 off and says, "this is too easy." He then proceeded to bully the table the rest of the night, and I couldnt do anything about it because I had to be cautious with my limited bankroll. Had I called his initial all in would I have won? Would that have made him settle down his wild play? Would he be hesitant to get into pots with me specifically? I'll never know, but one thing I do know is I was not satisfied with my timid cautious play from the start and through out the rest of the night. The most important thing in poker is to make the right decision at the time regardless of the outcome or potential effects to your bankroll.

P.S. I ended up losing that session anyway.

No. Bankroll management is for what you play, not how you play.

I concur. If you have to adjust your game for fear of losing then you've just made the task much more difficult.

I believe that your BR should not influence your actions within a game (MTT)

What you should do is to have control of the limits you play, have more than 30x the tournament buy-in from the range of values you are playing.

Having this control, play your game on the tables ... do not let the BR factor influence your actions on the table

With a small bankroll you just should play in lower stakes. The stakes shouldn't bother your gameplay at all. Just play your strategy and you wil win, then move up to higher stakes. Good luck

playing with a very small bank roll is difficult as you wont be able to play as solid and as free a game as possible. Worrying about the bankroll could affect your decision making and even if you played super nit and waiting on a big hand it could still be cracked due to poker variance so my advice would be to play the smallest stakes possible and play as solid a game you can possibly play, im not saying to be a nit but just play your game, with emphasis on being more solid and PRAY luck is with you. gl

Scared money don't make money, so i believe you should not play tight because than you will lose the little you have. Plat your strongest game play like you have a 10 grand bankroll. But don't make stupid calls because you feel you can loose. My rule is one buy in per day. I lose i go back to my room untill the next day. I am a profitable poker player and am up about 1o grand in live games. unfortunately i live in westchester NY so my commute to AC is to far to make it a career. I plan to move to the strip and play for a living.

Many recommend you never play off the bench .. but in my case in particular I always play off the bench and if I do the withdrawal and start again .. same my idea is to add and continue making it grow without withdrawing for a certain time. .
But if in fact your intention is to grow gradually step by step, it would be good to keep in mind to play inside your bank .. if in a certain way you do not have the possibility to reload money safe ... but if you have the Possibility and you can charge money I would tell you to play in what you have more confidence you have without fear that you will get what you want so much .. when it is your turn to touch you

you should play your best game, but you want to let your bankroll be the guide to what stakes you can play

You should think of your bankroll begore you enter the game. Not after. After entering do not make decisions considering your bankroll. Play the cards & the players.

Hello in the case of having a small bank if it is advisable that you play limiting the times that you are going to see the flop since you do not always succeed, it is usually expected a lot and the moment you get a very good hand there is no Hesitate to play it very aggressively as this will mean to your opponents that you have a very strong and sure hand you will end up taking the chips in the middle of the table, eye but you should not always expect good hands to play, But make a good bluff to increase your stack of chips, always have the bluff against rivals that have a stack smaller than yours to make it more effective. I hope you serve luck on the tables.

No, you should play within your bankroll so it does not influence your game. That means you may spend some time at the micro's so you do not bust your roll.

The absence of a bankroll should in no way influence decision-making during a poker game !!! But you have to play neatly, regardless of whether you have money or not))))
