It could really be for a good number of reasons. Your question is too general to be able to provide any kind of decent answer (if one doesn't know where to the leak is... pretty hard to fix it).
I could check the notes I've put on you & let you know if you want (it be pretty general as I don't think I've played many hands with ya & I never get on any final tables).

Read Harrington on Hold'em Volume II: The Endgame. (Read Volume I first to understand the presentation method)

The endgame is where most people make mistakes that cost them the better finishes.
That's where you get to use your reads on the people to make moves for a significant amount of chips (as blinds are big, and antes have usually kicked in).

A lot of people get too tight, and a lot of people get too loose. You want to be aggressive against certain people in certain situations.

If someone is going to fold to any raise, keep your raise small.

I think i can help you some.
Do you play any SNG's?
Your over all MTT play, aka stealing the blinds when you need to, or when your M is over 10.
SNG play, can be a good tool to learn, when playing the FT.. <<< I know someone on here said that before hand.

I agree with some sngs

Yes i agree some sngs are good practice for ft play. I am a final table junkie. And can not get enough of em. Fulltilt has 18 and 27 mtt sng's that I like when I want to keep it light and don't want to grind out the larger tourneys. And boy its a nice change. I also like the 6 person turbo for final table practice. It has helped me some. Good luck and I am looking forward to joining you at the tables soon. bigbigbucs

I also play the 45 and 27 Mtts for 3 days now beacuse i discovered 98% of ppl playing them have no clue of what they are doing. But they are not nearly as hard as the CC freerolls where at least 20 players are pros playing them for fun. The Mtts from FT are the easyest way to build your bankroll as a beginner. After 7-8 mounths of CC membership playing CC freerolls i am glad to say i won one and got ITm a lot of times. But unlike Mtts on FT ,none is giving you space to brief when you are a shortstack on CC freerolls.

Ha PO u can PM them 2 me but by the sounds of it you must like the notes!

And thats all I do is play Sngs but the only difference are the chipstacks!

I think I play 2 tight once I reach the FT maybe I should start taking more notes on certain players I always see at the Final Tables...

Its not like I play my best to get there and then blowup I always get my chips in with good cards they just dont seem to hold-up, maybe stealing blinds/antes I need to work on

Yep, that's one place i would work on.
Playing too tight is also the other problem.

I guess all the great players come from PA huh? Well ultimately i am a sng player so I practiced stealing blinds and antes when needed and took notes on the players and used em against em and whatta ya know I won first place yesterday in our CC freebie!

Thanks all for the info as im sure My game still needs to be better at The FT so feel free to bring some knowledge my way
