Hi guys,

I generally cash at least every other day in a free roll at bet online. However, the amount that I have won has ranged from 25 cents to 22 dollars. I generally get somewhere around 75 cents each time. I then tend to get super excited about winning cash and blow through it before too long. I built my roll to $80 a little while back from free roll winnings but i donked it away. Any who...besides not overextending myself, I was hoping for maybe some more advice concerning the following:

1) With only having 75 cents is it better to use it in micro cash games or something like a 6 person sit n go?

2) Should I avoid temptation and just wait till I cash again so that I have more to start with?

Thanks,
Paper816

yes it seems your whole problem is not being able to control yourself.
the chris ferguson video will teach you bankroll management.
if you had an $80 BR you would never go broke playing micro cash
or SnGs. learn from your mistakes :) GL

I'm not a big fan of BetOnline's small stakes SNGs; either the buy-in is too small for the amount of time you'll be playing or (in the $.10 and $.25 6-max) the payouts are too skewed. I think 2NL is a much more profitable avenue to start.

You won your BR on freerolls right? You lost your money in cash game... Why do you play cash if you win on tournaments? Did you tried to play some low cost tournaments? I'm not familiar with betonline tournaments but they should have something similar to PS Sunday Storm...

It's easy finding a good BRM, but if you follow it or not, that's what's important.
Me, I dont follow a BRM, and tend to go broke, but I have a job that allows me to take shots.

Good luck with it :)

Don't spend all your money on a game or a lot of your money. Look at bankroll management videos to help you decide what games you would like to play. If you lose money then you have to go down a level and rebuild your bankroll. Maybe try sngs and tournaments if the cash games are not treating you well.

Play freerolls and try to increase your bankroll in 10-25c tournaments (better not turbo and hyper). Make out your mistakes in history after every game and gather statistics what exactly games you do better. Accumulate the experience. Don't get in cash a while. It's more complicated then not expensive tournaments.

Yes but BRM by itself means nothing if you can't actually defeat the games.
