This is a discussion on Second Kicker within the online poker forums, in the Learning Poker section; Just confirming that in the case of a tie with the kicker then the 'second' kicker is use to break the tie?
e.g. A 7 plays
Using the terminology from that page to describe the above hand the 'highest ranking kicker' is A vs A and it matches so to decide the hand you go to the 'second highest ranking' kicker.
While I agree that these might all be kickers, when we use the term "kicker" we're talking about the one that counts. It's a verbal shorthand. You're not going to say "second kicker" because that implies that your kicker is second best and not that you are using the second of multiple kickers. It just is confusing and terms that can be taken multiple ways should be avoided at the table.

all statements are true. There are no second kickers as all cards that are needed to break ties between hands go by the term "kicker". Here is another link that you can check.
