During the 2003 world series of poker, referring to the natural tendency of players to tighten up on the bubble, Amir Vahedi stated: "In order to live, you must be willing to die."

Sometimes making the right play will be uncomfortable but when you are playing within your bankroll you can confidently stand by your decisions.

If you can't afford to lose your tournament buy-in you have no business registering for the event.

Good luck to you! :D

usually the fear is of losing all the money! If you have the money important to not play right now. Increase the Bank with a Freeroll! Maybe gambling is not for you! Money game should never be! There must always be a reserve!

Strong tourney players can sense those that are timid , or just trying to survive past the bubble . They attack their blinds relentlessly and bet aggressively when checked to . Its a risky style , but the payoffs for going deep at the final table override the risk of busting more often and missing a few mini cashes .

The most important thing to get rid of the fear of losing money is making sure you never gamble a high percentage of your bankroll.
All bankroll management guides talk about this. If you have 100-200 buy ins, you can afford to play 99-199 more times if you bust. If you're confident in your play you shouldnt be afraid anymore.

If the problem is you're not confident in yoir play, thenI'd advise to learnand grindplay money. Play money isnt as serious but you can try outdifferent styles, figure out what worksand what doesnt,...
Freeroll tournaments are also good practice and if you get better you'll build up that bankroll!!

I hope this helps!
Good luck!

I agree with you money should always be in reserve but I can't do that even in my life and it's not that gambling is not for me the fact that as the same need to deal with it

fear comes from the thought of losing even more money than lost regardless of the fact I won before that or lost

you say you can't do in personal life is to have a reserve? I understand you correctly? To play online poker do not need to have a large stock! But it needs to be to be able to take a chance and not be afraid to lose everything! The reserve is your insurance! What is your Bank now? what games do you play? what are the limits?

Maybe if you hav eplayed hundreds of tournaments hat fear will be not so big.
And bankroll should be big enough so you wont notice one loss.

As an option to drink 50 grams of whiskey, and if the fear seriously goes away with experience, the more tournaments you play, the less you will be afraid.

You might find it useful to change on a MTT SnG or spin&go (play cache game), you tried to play limit hold'em? there is much calmer and not so hastily and aggressively!

I think that you need to play a comfortable limit for yourself.

I really think that is the answer. If you are worried about losing a buy-in you are playing over your bankroll. If I go all in for 1.00 it really doesn't matter if I win or lose, I'm okay with it. This is because it doesn't affect my bankroll. If I go all in for 500.00 I would be sweating it because my bankroll can't support losing 500 over and over. If you are worried about losing a hand you are playing over your limit, drop down.

You are going to fold a lot of winners if you are afraid to lose what you have at the table.
