Hi! All, I have had times when I play that no matter what I play I cannot win. This can last for days and sometimes sporadic through out tournaments. I find this very discouraging but I keep coming back for more "pain". It is a love hate relationship playing poker. Is just me or do others have this "DOWN TIME" as well? The worst part about this is you start to play loose and get into bad habits.  :(

I have it ones in a while to and I do agree that it makes you feel worse and worse about your game. The only tip I can give you and what I always do is, stop playing for 1 or 2 days and try it again.

Otherwise it will be very bad for your bankroll

Sometimes I play a few tourneys in a row where I think I can do no right. I continually get in with the better hand and someone outflops me, and that is sad. Just need to take a break and play again in a few days. Sometimes it's just a patch in the tourney that I need to get through. If I have a few bad beats in a row, I try and regroup and tighten up a little and wait till the luck changes. Sometimes it does and then I'm in a good position, because it is better to have a run of luck in the middle or end of the tourney rather than the start. More money in the pot :)
