List down what was the first major score of your life and what advice would you have given to your younger self?

My first major win was way back in 2010 when I qualified for the APPT Cebu Main event through freeroll (3 stages) for around $2500 (Main event seat + Hotel + Airfare).

Result: Busted on Day 1 of the Main event. Was brash, aggressive and a show-off, got caught with my hand in the cookie jar with a bluff against a three-of-a-kind, with a busted flush draw.

Advice: Calm your head down, there's no need to be flashy. Showing-off doesn't make you a good poker player, only good decisions does.

2003 played acr americas cardroom friday freeroll was first site i downloaded and played. I took down the tournament and they forced me to sports bet to withdraw so ran it up luckily to 5k... this financed my poker career ive won money on 60 some sites.

Advice? GO FOR IT. I always told self is time to go after the bigger wins etc.. would find the time etc..

well now have time cause im disabled but also not healthy as would like. So yes my advice would have been to risk it to be great a long time ago:)

my first win was 70 dollars and I continued to play and won more, my advice if you won a good amount and you need money, withdraw money from poker or you can lose everything, and if you do not really need money you deduce half, and the rest you leave for the game to play it was possible in good tournaments

Had back to back FTs on a $10 buy in freezeout in party in JUL 2015. Second attempt netted me $1500 for a 1st place. Blew it all in a week or 2 I believe. My advice - play within your bankroll stupid! And don't let back to back FTs swell your ego unnecessarily.

As far as I know, ACR didn't exist back then. I actually joined DoylesRoom back in 2007 and stayed with them while they moved from one network to another. It was a decent site for a newer microstakes player and the software was good too. They moved around a bunch & then finally (as they were dying off) they were bought out by Yatahay. The software was incredibly bad... lightyears behind all the other sites/networks and traffic was almost non-existent (you'd be lucky to find 1 cash table with 3 or 4 players on it). Later I believe this became ACR (I believe this was in 2011).
I did read that the ACR brand existed from 2001 to 2007 but I never heard of it til' it was relaunched after acquiring DoyelsRoom.

What advice would you give to your younger self

Oh darling Neelan... you are so young and so beautiful... You are a rock-style player and are so terrified of making the wrong move that you never make the right ones... Don't always fold... Be brave my sweetheart for great years lie ahead! <3
