He has top pair and top kicker on the flop and me nothing hit on the flop.
Looking at the odds I'm 66% ahead of his top pair and top kicker.
The power of suited connectors and high cards might be the factors..
What can you say guys?

With 2 more cards to come every A , K , Q , 9 and every club will give you the lead.
That's a gazillion of outs , while his opportunities to improve are very limited.

I think he dont need to improve his hand any longer on this situation all he wish is to avoid hitting my multi-combo draws. The turn was J and I was getting less outs on the river.

This is not always so, depending on the size of the stack, if you have a big stack playing on whole stack only with draws would be a mistake.

You have 21 outs, with 2 cards to come. (47-21/47)*(46-21/46) = (93*21-441)/2162 = .699 or 69.9% to win. Looks like it only shows 66.3. However, math is math, so it is 69.9% or .430:1 to win.

Flush draw + straight draw + plus 2 over cards... against top pair(with no blocker to your pair with his kicker).. well offcourse you're the favourite - if you play poker regulary I think you should know this by heart and you shouldn't need to check the odds to make sure you're the favourite ;)

Well you're in front, but if nothing comes you've ages. How have you been all in there is plenty to do but certainly if you could invest in these conditions, you would have to increase and quite the pot size.

Dont know what the blinds are, but this is almost never a fold there.
Actually this is a spot where you push all in when facing a raise from a big stack imo.

No,no...what you seem to forget is not every out locks the hand and some turn cards will take away some outs.
Because of that it's ~66%

9 clubs, 3 9's, 3 A's, 3 K's 3 Q's for a total of 21 outs, Other than flopping the stone cold nuts you can't ask for much better.

No, I do realize that there is the possibly of the tie and backdoor boat as well. 4 squared is where the main difference is (2%). Don't want to get that involved into the maths accounting for that if the OP did not even realize he was ahead here, and showing the op how it gets to be that, might be a bit overwhelming. While I admit giving him a simple formula for him to win, if he hits his out without accounting for the other is not the best idea, baby steps to get him there is not a bad idea imo.

With 21 outs to the best hand , and a lot of those outs to make the nuts . Opponent also is unlikely to improve. Massive draws with 2 cards to come have tremendous equity value . This is something that can be used to your advantage and something to remember from now on !
