The position of the dealer is basically irrelevant in razz (and any other stud game). You don't need to worry about rotating the blinds, because everyone antes the same amount every hand, and the bring in is decided on whoever has the worst up-card.

^^^ exactly, the button doesn't move around the table in a patern like it does in Hold'em or Omaha. In 7 Stud high card brings in the hand. Razz is effectively the opposite of 7 Stud therefore low cards brings in the hand.

Other way around - lowest card brings in for stud, and highest card brings in for razz. In either case if two players have the lowest (or highest) card the bring in is decided on the suit of the card, which lowest to highest runs clubs, diamonds, hearts, spades.

There are variations of stud and razz that do use a small blind/ big blind scheme. I believe at Carbon. Not positive about that location tho.

It is interesting to see how the games differ when done with blinds and not antes. There is a not so subtle difference in one approach to the game.

Time permitting I'm probably in for this at a lower level unless its played at tilt.

This just may be the best answer ever given in this forum.:p:p:p:p:p

But doesn't this also open us up to the fact that the 'zz' is pre-posted and that the deal is definitely rigged ... ????
