I am going to try out the goofy "all-in or fold" with knockout feature at Carbon.

I'm not sure if there can really be a strategy for all-in or fold but I need one if anyone can help me.... puleeeezzz.,

okay this is a strategy, KILL PHIL, Read the "basic," couple of pages, and youre done, basically push with AA AK and i think KK but cant be sure. But to play like a monster you need KILL EVERYONE.

I just did it at bodog, and will suggest that you never call unless you got monsters, and you only AIOF if you are the first to act.

I was doing good, but got beat by the deadly Toyotas (4 runner flushes to be exact). It is a level of aggression we seldom use. Any of us.

I have been playing these on Reefer and find it quite entertaining.
As was said above, play monsters and be patient, they knock themselves out of these.

Add here that once you get a big stack, and are past the first few orbits, you can shove damn near any hand. At least a few times, and it is amazing how many will muck purely to the aggression. Then sit low and wait 2 more orbits and do 3 or 4 hands again.

If you have prevailed, you will begin to realize the power of durrrr like play. It is not about the cards, it is about the actions.

Thanks all! I'll have to try it again soon. Finished just ootm by playing only top two sklansky ranks, looks like I got lucky some to make it that far. Next time AA KK until the blinds start to hurt then I'll try some of the more agressive stuff you guys mentioned.

Thanks again!

If this is also a bounty game then you have to be even more careful as people play with more marginal hands in order to claim a bounty. So you have to be patient and wait for your oportunity.

When the blinds are small the reward relative to the risk is very small. I'd only shove QQ+ in the early levels. Calling all in should be done even more tightly. Depends of course on your opponents, there are people who will be shoving way too many hands, and against them you can adjust your calling range.
