Are winning players in no limit also rated on BB's won per # of hands?
Yes. Even though the term
Big Bet strictly applies to Limit, BB/100 hands is the most common guage of success or lack thereof in both Limit and No Limit Hold'em cash games. This is a point of great confusion in many threads relating to NLH. It has become customary to use the lower case bb/100 when refering to big blinds/100 (hands) and uppercase BB/100 when refering to Big Bets/100. Incidently, a profit of only 1 BB/100 hands is considered the minimum return that a professional player needs to make a living. At $50/$100 that might be $30-$40/hr (live).
