I am in a Horse tournament right now, and I am trying to re learn Omaha H/L after not playing that for a long time. I just wanted to know if the Low hand part of the pot has the same qualifications as in Razz. Thanks.
RAZZ is a stud game played to have the '5' lowest cards. There is no qualifier for making the low in RAZZ.
Omaha Hi/Lo rules are different
A. You must use two cards from your hand for the high hand.
B. You must use two cards from your hand for the low hand.
C. The board (5 community cards) must contain 3 unpaired cards from 'A' to '8' for a qualifying low to be possible
D. Your cards and the board cards must contain five unpaired cards from 'A' to '8' for a qualifying low.
E. You count the best low hand based on the highest number that you are required to use to make your low hand.

True what the other guys said. But yes, the qualifications for the hand itself are the same. Straight is fine, unsuited or not is fine, and ace is low. And congrats on your win.
