The player pool in cash is much stronger from what I've found. You have to be a real good player in order to beat cash games. I'm still not there either. It's a lot of study and hard work.

In tournaments and sit n go with blinds going up people usually gamble more and play mediocre cards more often cash suits the more patient type on average as blinds are lower and if you are playing hands of Omaha you nearly have to have the nuts to double up in cash game sick how many times have lost with second nuts in holdem also.

I prefer SNG. Cash tables-so different. Try some techniques. Leave table after losing a big hand and take a break. Instead of leaving after a win, stay for a while and use the momentum of winning.

If you do decent in tourneys and sng's and lose in cash games the answer is simple, only play tourneys and sng's and do not play cash games.
Might sound like obvious advice but if you find a type of poker you win at stick to it.
I like playing Omaha but however much i try I cannot win at it, but I do ok playing sng's so I play sng's.
Stick to what you do best, poker is hard at the best of times.

If you play well tournaments and sng, keep playing them. Why change anything?

Cache and tournaments are two completely different games.

Cache and tournaments are two completely different games. Personally, I can play the cache easier, but I think tournaments are more interesting. When you play in the cache, you can not rush, the blinds are always the same, thanks to this you can wait a long time for a good card. In tournaments, you want it or not, you need to periodically go to all-in and every time you risk losing either the whole stack or most of it. Try to play the cache only on a good card, and according to statistics most of the hands you will win. I had periods when I played in the cache and waited three hours for a good card, but as a result, I won good money.

cash and tournaments are different.cash is more static. you have time to wait for cards.
tourneys are more dinamic. you have to do something about thoes blinds going up.

try to change the mentality when you play cash. try to understand what mindset you should have.

You play with a shorter stack for most of the tournament. It is not uncommon to hit top pair in a multiway pot and being pot comitted, having to shove and sometimes even get called by worse.

If you sit at a cash table with these tendencies you are gonna lose a lot of money at showdown. With a bigger stack you have to exercise a lo of pot control with your mediocre hands, if you are getting lots of action chances are you are against a monster.
