QQ is my favorite hand. If the timing is right I'll go all-in. I rarely limp with anything unless I'm in early position at an aggressive table.

Limping with a big hand is almost always a bad decision. Are you aware that in NL Holdem there are more than these 2 options?

NLHE? Wouldn't limp QQ ever tbh. Standard open would be my preferred play, for me that's usually 2.22x. Also this hand is, for obvious reasons, great for a 3bet which I would size to around 3x the open raise.

If I've got a healthy chip stack, I tend toward 2.2X to open. Sometimes a little more. I will occasionally 3-bet depending on my position. I don't like to over commit since there's a pretty good chance that the flop will bring an over card. If I'm short stacked then it's an easy all-in. I seldom limp with premium hands. I want to discourage someone with a marginal to poor hand from entering the pot and catching lightning in the bottle without paying a price.

QQ AllIn or limp? What are you thinkin about it?

Hello ! I like that question ! :five:

I to go all-in whit QQ, I need a very good reason to do it!

By the way.

My favorite poker movement is limping with, big pocket pairs! :)

Depends

It depends on the situation at the time. I personally don't like to limp my big hands. I play my big hands hard from the start. Good luck !

I was taught a very valuable lesson years ago when I first started playing poker. I was close to the bubble in an MTT and going for my first final table. I was dealt QQ and decided to limp, which allowed the BB in for nothing with T7, and of course he flops trip tens and knocks me out. It's one thing to lose a hand because you got unlucky but another thing to lose it because you played it wrong. I don't limp premium hands ever after that.

Depends on your stack. If you are short I would go all in and hope heads up. If larger stack I would raise and see flop.

everything depends on the position of opponents at the table, the size of your stack and stacks of opponents ... a lot of answers like to play a "couple of ladies" ...
but in most cases, limp with big pairs is a bad decision, it is better to play 3bet or all-in

All-in with a stack of less than 10 blinds, as well as a raise or re-raise...

QQ allin or limp

Do not limp.... Just go for it... Raise, Re-raise pre-flop, and definitely go all-in on a flop with no A or K drop...AA, KK, QQ are the pair powers in hole cards. QQ is the third most powerful pairing of the hole cards. It will form the best hand 8,000 out of 10,000 hands played. That means there is an 80% chance of winning if playing with QQ. This also means that there is a 20% chance of losing. Winning is not an automatic. Know that! Winning means that there is a responsibility to play QQ as best as possible because that 20% chance of losing can happen all day long in the short run.

How to play QQ depends on what position one is in and stack size. Playing calls (1) for a bet pre-flop in an early position plus a raise pre-flop if possible. Playing calls (2) for a raise or re-raise pre-flop in a later position. In the case that your stack is short, (3) this will probably be your best last chance to win a bigger one, so I would go all-in from any position. Overall, limping can be deadly because it allows lesser hands to evolve into greater ones, so bet high enough to get the garbage out. With a deep stack betting at 2.5xBB or 3xBB is probably best from early to mid position, then re-raise if possible. From a later position, go over the top, or, if you deem it necessary, go all-in.

I think you got your answers. Limping with big pairs is only in rare cases when you are trapping with aces or you afraid that there will be no action to your raise and you want at least the big blind to continue.

If I said that pocket queens is not a good hand to shove that would be a lie. But since most of the times you gonna called by a hand with an ace its always good to see how your stack compares to others in the table, who covers you, whats your position, who is the short stack that might shove.

QQ AllIn or limp? What are you thinkin about it?

Well, what I do is to reraise with QQ if noone has rerasied before me. And if I get a 3-bet I may 4-bet it and If I get a 5-bet to my 4-bet then I just call because that 5-bet should be in the range of AA, KK or AK in my opinion. If there is a reraise before my position, then I will decide if I just call or reraise a 3-bet depending on the size of the raise before me. I hope I could help! :)

QQ AllIn or limp? What are you thinkin about it?

Sorry but your question is incomplete, because it depends on how many chips in your stack still, how many chips your villains have, how many villains at the table left, what kind of style they play. I would do limp and all-in both in very few situations. Most of the time it will be raise. But of course if i have 15BB or less it's all-in. Maybe more if i have to do with a villain, that have a big stack and tends to call and gambling lot. Limping QQ is a tricky way of play and usually i wouldn't recommend do that to anyone on regular basis, but there are also exceptions. Especially the case, when we know there will be just one villain after our action in a hand. (SB vs. BB for example) And we also know, that he is very aggressive player. I would limp QQ to induct him continue aggression and maybe 3bet him then or even slowplay. Have to vary it, but i would give 80% for 3bet and 20% for slowplay in that case.

The question was what are you thinking about when you're dealt QQ not what would you do in a specific situation.

1) My stack versus already in or still to act.
2) if a tournament where we are in it BB size and bubble
3) What I want to happen either action, or just take what's on the board already.
4) Position
5) where will I be if they're beat and how do I minimize the downside.

I hate QQ as we approach the bubble it seems like you only get action if you're beat or against a draw that even if I set them the Q helps the opponent more.

I think you can get much more value by betting, playing all in is very likely that they all retire and only paying you give your rivals the chance to see a free board.
I bet 4 to 5 BB to protect me from the possible payments with AX
