I've been practicing and doing quite well with 6 tables on pokerstars and would like to start playing real money on Americas Card Room and multitable the smaller buy-ins as well as running Full Flush poker and maybe BetOnline as well while using Placemint to tile them since they're different softwares. Just wanted some advice on what buy in amounts to each site since im using a few different sites as well. Thanks in advance!

What's your current bankroll? I should add that real money plays a lot different than play money.

30-50BIs should be fine if you're doing low stakes. You can go as low as 20BIs for micros, but I honestly don't recommend that (esp with multitabling and not being experienced in cash games).

Note- You should be buying in the max amount.

I got a free $5 from Black Chip Poker I won 2 JackPot $2 tournaments then played and won an $8 which brought the total to $15. I opened 6 windows and bought in with $0.80 and have grown the bank roll up to $29.36 multi tabling 6 tables. I play really tight and have ran into a few sets straights and flushes but I picked up really fast that Real money is different but i've been adjusting marking the fish and chasers. I dont bet/call whats not there nor do I chase unless I have more than 12 outs and the bet is no more than 20-30% of pot, which was not as often so risk management is in full effect.

If you don't know poker well or just learning

I suggest just staying at 2NL til you learn what type of players are out there. What player you are and just establishing your game.

PPL suggest TAG Style and I think 50buy-in is fine. Though don't push up too quick, learn first and work on your weaknesses so then later you can use your strengths at the higher levels :)

I've been playing live cash poker for a few years now. Ive began to take it more seriously about 4 months ago. I have a really strong ABC strategy. I play jacks or better Video Poker and have a strong sense of of EV and Probability and can calculate my outs and equity immediately. If its not there I dont care to bluff it, prefer to fold and go to next hand . I practice risk management at all times. I have a good premium preflop hands and a folding rule. When I see huge bets and re-raises I can spot the stronger hands depending on the players and know how to release top pair with AK.

If youre not an experienced poker player I suggest you not to play at 6 tables.
Its better for you to focus on 1 or max. 2 tables.
Im telling you that because I made the same mistake when I first started online poker. My first deposit was 50$, made 150$ in 2 days, started playing multi tables and lost everything in 1 day. But thats just my opinion.

I can EASILY play 6 tables. I get bored and play 9 sometime. but not having an external monitor makes it a hassle some time so if i see a problem I close the extra 3 or sometime leave 7 and minimize the extra one and lay only QQ+ n the extra window.. fish are very predictable and i keep a tight game during play so i dont care when its time to fold AA or KK, AK thats easy for me. Thanks for the replies

Yeah, ive always been one for opening a lot of ring game tables (12 for me), juggling them for 20 mins or so, then leaving the seats (sometime upto half of them) that are either not hitting their sets or running an obvious loss, bad seat etc.
Once ive been though that process, I find that I can sit on the remaining tables for hours. For the majority of the tables left, I can run pretty good for the next 90 or so, or until they start getting lame.

Rinse & Repeat.

So...how does one keep track of leaks when multi-tabling more than 3-4 tables at a time? I find it easy to spot problems with two or three tables going, but much harder to catch issues above 3 tables. I know I can make money with more than 3 tables going, but my focus right now is on improving my poker skills. Thoughts?

You should never enter a cash game tif you have less than 30BI's at the max amount you can sit down with.

I don't really play much cash mainly SNG/MTT and I try to keep 50-100BI's.

Never have more than 5% of your bankroll on tables. Read on about Chris Ferguson's BRM and his 0-10000$ challenge.
