Hi all,
I'm new to the forum and I am really trying to get serious about my passion for poker by working hard at my game! I'm playing micro stakes sit and gos and some multitable tournaments to try and practice and build my game slowly with as little bankroll risks as possible. My question though is in regards to limpers. As you all know at the small stakes you get a lot of people being very passive and limping into pots. Now when i get a big hand pre flop like big pocket pairs I'm finding it very hard to narrow the amount of people in the hand. Even when there has been 3/4 limpers before me and i put in 6/7 times the blind to try and push people out they still call with crappy hands! When I'm the first one to open I raise 3x the big blind but i get a few callers. So my question is how can I get the most value out of my hand but without having big multiway pots? Should I be passive with all my hands also pre flop and then try and outplay the others post flop? Any help would be much appreciated, Thanks.
