Taking care of your health, eating well, practicing physical activity, is fundamental for a good performance at the tables. Maybe our problem in not being able to make the best decision is happening before turning on the computer. And this is pure truth. Think about it.

What about relationships with other people? Family, friends, SO, etc.

I don't know, I might be wrong, but playing hours and hours of poker leaves you with less time and chances to interact with people. Doesn't that affect your perfomance, and overall happiness, as well?

I'm in the process of finding the proper balance between poker, and everything else in my life. Currently, raising my puppy is number one, which cuts into the amount I can grind.

Physical fitness is very overrated and is something the other apes have to worry about a lot more than us humans.

Just don't get too fat and eat enough good food to make up for the bad and you're fit enough to be a brilliant poker grinder.

I agree! i like to think of poker players as athletes because there is plenty of scientific evidence that shows that physical fitness is the best way to improve mental performance. being physically fit wont help them to be better players, but it will help them play their best game more often and help them improve their ability to learn. if you want to be a good poker player, you should think of yourself as an athlete.

Perfect, it is always good to take care of our health, good nutrition is fundamental for a good functioning of the body, allied with a simple walk, makes a huge difference and separates us from other sedentary.
