Is this right move in MTT when we are on first 3 UTG positions? Last time I was busted in bubble phase as 71/8800 players .. BB has aces and got trips on the flop

Would you be asking the same question about AA utg on the bubble? Whatever the answer is for AA is probably the correct answer, for you, for QQ.

The top Three Pairs are always perfect to move in regardless of position
Yes sometimes we might face overpairs but the odds of QQ facing AA or KK is less
As long as its EV+ move , we can profitably go for it regardless of result

Its actually legid to throw QQ (or KK/AA for that matter) away on the bubble if you have a halfway decent (but fragile) stack. It depends how important it is to you to get ITM in that specific tournament.

It obviously depends on your stacksize, tho. If you have enough chips for a normal open you should go for it. If you are < 20BB you can throw it away and wait for the bubble to burst. If you are the one the last place and the blinds are high compared to your stack you should probably go AI and pray, since the blinds/antes would eat you up anyways. Its hard to gerneralize these things.

Its fine to push these hands! So if you dont have a specific reason not to do it, you should prolly just go AI.

depends on your stack if you ask me and on your ops.
yes QQ is strong but if ops call with 92o there is no fold value(witch you want after all)

I agree that depending on the stack size and position and moment of the tournament (close of ITM or FT) you can very often shove with QQ or even with JJ and mainly if the opponents after your position or who raised before is or are playing several hands.

QQ all-in from UTG in the bubble is Ok, as you can have no chance next time to increase your stack.

I would not go all-in. unless I have enough chips to cover any possible opponent.

QQ all in from an early position is not the smartest of plays.

It depends on your stack and your position in the tournament. It's always tempting to play them. It's a very solid game, maybe 3BB raise is more smart to do so.

It's a crap shoot IMO. I think you are better off making the bet in the long run. I dominated a high stack with J/10 off vs. 9/2 off he pushed me in cause of position and chips. He hit two 2s on the flop. Sometimes you are just unlucky. But as stated above you really don't want to go out on the bubble, so folding a monster hand isn't necessarily the wrong move. It also helps if you know who else is short stacked at one of the other tables.

I would calmly shove queens if:
1. Villain is a loose player,
2. He pushes immediately, does not mini-re-raise (most frightening move for me),
3. One of us has short stack.

Not sure why you would want to put all your chips in the middle on the bubble unless you had a real short stack and were worried about making the money. Nothing worse than playing for a few hours for nothing.

You could simply raise. Even if it was for half your stack with the intention of shoving on the flop. It still gives you options. For example, someone calls with AK on a dry board they may fold to your all in. The flop is AAK and you rethink your shove.

When you shove, you take that option away and can lose to a river ace or king.

All in with QQ usually means you are going to be only called by someone that has you in a coin flip at worst, most likely has you crushed.
