Do pot odds matter preflop, in general, out of position or in position, on both cash and tournament structures? And why?

My opinion

Pre-flop odds help about 10-20 percent of time. This allows you to place more often, giving you the slight edge to win at end of month. Its also a good idea to get your winning edge where the dealer button usally sits for you to score a win.

Yes and no. At 5-1 pot odds or over, I'll call about anything because the implied odds are good if you hit a monster hand. I've raised with small pocket pair simply to throw people off my scent only to flop trips and bust out an opponent.

Personally, I feel what's worth and not worth a call/raise becomes intuitive eventually.

Yep, I will only usually call connector cards in the SB for example if its been limped around and weak aces etc. Although I do feel like these hands can cause alot of trouble from early position. But yes, I guess depends on feel of table and the hand you actually hold.

For preflop you think about stack sizes, follow push/fold charts or hand equity
If stacks are deep - more then 70bb i call shov at very tight range depending on opp stats. in cash it is AA KK AKs(sometimes)
