Hey
I have a question. I want to know if for eg i have 80+ in early mid stages, is it fine to play mediocre hands for 1 blind to see flop? Or should i just wait for a good hand and raise?
Also sometimes i feel like i shouldnt raise and just limp on someones bet with eg AQo AKs etc as 1/3 times i raise and flop is good 10-15% times only and sometimes even on a 3bb or 4bb bet they fold and I lose my chance of making some chips.
I play freerolls btw.
Please let me know what you think.
Thanks :D

personally, i dont like to play that pocket hand cause in my opinion it isnt too strongh that it looks like. raise in preflop 3 bb, but if appear a Q,K or A on the table, i just flop often..

In terms of your learning curve, you'd be better served to play a solid TAG style, part of which is not looking for more spots in which to limp. Yes, playing speculative hands works out sometimes. But some players have a tendency to justify doing do because the down side is only 1bb. But that's not the case. It's easy when you whiff the flop and fold, but flopping hands like small two pairs, one pair with a backdoor, as non-nut draws, etc. puts you in situations that can and fairly often do cost much more.

TAG style of play is undoubtedly the safe way and the better way to cashed in the tournament. You need the patient to double up with strong hand.
