What do you guys do when you raise with, let's say, AK pre-flop in early position but utterly miss the flop? Do you start checking or do you keep up the agression in hopes the others will fold? If someone raises your check, do you call/re-raise/fold?
I feel like I sometimes commit too much to the pot and then get burned hard.

Depends what type cards there are, if theres % big to get something then you should bet more, if not then check or all in, to win pot, (or loose) :D

I ususaly fold if raise is big, but I want to see cheap turn or river later, so I call lower bets. I also want to hear more about those situations

raise pre flop with AK is good, but after when you see flop, and you not hit,you must think, what you play now, because some time, you lose you stack with bluff,c-bet , on flop, opponent call and turn not give you card, and wha after > you just fold or bluff

Well i have two options.

1) I will C-bet but not too much more like a blocker bet. If my opponent calls I will put him on a small pair or maybe he is playing a draw. If he re-raises I will fold.

2) If I'm trying to be cautious I will check and if he raises more than half the pot I will fold
