Hi, All !

I've been set aside poker for a while and paying more attention to my psychological state.
Now I'm back and starting with fundamentals.

Is there somewhere counting out exercises with answers ?
Or some other way to practice ?

Practice with real hand examples

I practiced by watching the EPT or the World Series, and pausing the show before it shows the percentage chance for each hand. I’d count the outs, and figure out a rough percentage. Once you resume the tv poker, the odds will be displayed and you can confirm your answer.

It just takes practice, and you’ll eventually get quick enough to estimate odds without pausing the Tv. A handy skill to have :D

Thanks, all !I'm testing my outs with Equilab.
Bit messy, but exact.

Odds calculator!
There’s Apps for your phone too
You can plug in the cards and it will tell you your outs which you can see and take time to memorize

This might sound dumb but it helped me. Set up a full board of omaha hi/lo complete with hero and villan cards. Figure out who had the best hand at first glance of each, for both the high and the low. When you can do it using that specific rule set hold'em gets automatic.

I stick with the 2 and 4 rule, even though it's not precise. For example 9 outs means I have 18% chance (really 19.1%) to hit the turn and 36% (really 35%) to have it my card by the river.
