Pot odds

Hi all I am trying to get my head around pot odds what am I looking for when calling for pot odds tonight I work out I was getting 6/1 for a call of .10 I play .2/.5 inline I no it micro but trying to learn. Am I looking for like 1/1 of do u want more odds like 4/1 or 5/1 for a call

Depends how much equity you think you have in the pot.The easiest way to work on this is to post specific hands and run through the math.But to give an example a bare flush draw has around 25% equity on the turn if the outs are clean.So you need to be getting 3/1 pot odds to make a call.
