Polished Poker: Vol I - Free Poker Ebook

So cardschat community is going to have first look at the first volume of my new book on NL cash games. Any and all feedback is appreciated. Please double check any of the math and anything else in there. It's been groomed over a couple of times, but with initial release, there's always bound to be an error or two.

I'm going to start on the next volume when I get back from my honeymoon in the middle of next month. Enjoy, and I wish you all the best!

About me:

I started playing poker in the latter part of 2004, as poker was just beginning to really boom. I was swept up in part of the "Moneymaker" effect of amateur Chris Moneymaker winning the WSOP main event in 2003. I was working in corporate America at the time making a comfortable six figure salary, but not satisfied with the career path I saw in front of me. I'm honestly not entirely sure how poker found me, but I began playing limit poker, and like anything I do in life, I studied everything I could get my hands on about the game and ate it up.

I made one $50 deposit on Pacific poker back in 2004, and I've never busted or looked back since. Since that time I've won several hundred thousand dollars in cash games and some nice tournament scores as well. I didn't and haven't played a ton of tournament poker over my career simply because of time commitments, but I do have WSOP cashes, and have won other local and online tournaments. Most of my study and time have gone into no-limit Texas Holdem 6-max, full ring, and heads-up cash games. I've played and had some decent success at pot-limit Omaha and Razz as well, but don't enjoy those games nearly as much.

You're welcome guys. There's a lot of material there, so take your time. I've tried to bring some new concepts to the table, so there should be several things that are new and will work really well for you if you incorporate them slowly into your game.

Nope, you will get it right away. Double check junk/spam. I'll have to add that as a message. I know if you have gmail or hotmail they over filter.

@john: john when i click on the link ,it says that i have to give a name and an email. So which name do i give? my full name? my cc nickname?

anyways i gave my first name and then my email and im pretty sure i didnt recieve an email.(dont wanna make this complicated and thnks in advance for sharing the book with us) but can u clarify here how we get it. for me at least who is having difficulties.

Full name, does not need to be CC name.
Also check spam folder for it.

Did it go to your spam? I'm going to contact the host. It's on shared hosting for this. Maybe I should stick it on our dedicated servers, but the developers didn't set it up that way.

So yeah, just enter regular name and e-mail. It's sent out automatically.

Also, my goal is in another month or so from now, when people have had a chance to read it, to setup a study group about it on here. I'll try and go over more details, examples, etc...

And the second volume is going to be purely a workbook. I'm going to use real hands I've played as examples with detailed analysis. I'm going to also bring in a couple of other pro players I know to give their perspective as well.

it sure is. well, im pretty sure that i didnt recieve it

ive checked everywhere :spam,junk,every folder i have.its nowhere to be seen. and when i go back and retype my name and put my email adress in the box,it says that it has already been sent. anyways,dont wanna be a pain in the a$$. ill give it like a day just in case there was some kind of delay. and ill let you know what happenss.
