Good day everyone. This is a post concerning the last step of the Beginners bankroll from the pokerschollonline journey. It is called Poker Expert.

I've passed the schooling journey very fast. Reached this quiz step and I am wondering how can I be such a bad player? I can't even pass the basic quiz. The question differ and it depends on a lot of things. I doubt that all pro PS players would play in the same freaking way at that point. Positioning is important we all know that but all the additional names make me sick. "gut cutoff .... really ? what happened to early middle button etc. It's quite disappointing to see all the extra names just to make it more interesting. I agree with all the players that can't pass this quiz. We are not all from USA nor UK. We can't understand all the details in these freaking wording details. So please make is more eligible at a base English level. I can't be that bad if I'm under 1 month on this site and already went into the cash at the elementary tourneys.

In conclusion I support whoever wants to write the answers to the questions to so it here or so post it somewhere and share the link. If working together is the way to pass this stupid quizzes then be it.

Passing quizzes generally give free tickets and allows you to make some progress and complete your training in the Beginners Bankroll.

I recently completed the Beginners Bankroll challenge, and found some of the quizzes exceptionally challenging as well. I should've saved the answers I put to help others out.

The only suggestion I can make is have each page open in a different tab to switch between the quiz and the different lessons. All the answers are there in the lessons pages, sometimes you just need to extrapolate from them a bit.

Anyways, that's how I did them! Goodluck!

I was able to do with only 3 test of the poker school, the others I have already read the materials, I have refined the tests countless times and I believe that there are some errors of the site in the processing of the answers or there is no way to go through that I am sure that I answered some certain in the However they appear wrong, if we unite and go with some help support to know where this error would be best for everyone.

I am in the US, and don't think the school is open to me. If it was, I would go take a look and see what the questions were (assuming I could get there without real money play) and help you translate them. That way, if it was a language issue, we could clear it up.

I prefer my questions to include an image of the table, position names, stack sizes, and then list the action. I rarely get that format, so I understand your irritation.

@ Vinnie

I was not aware that you can't register to www.pokerschoolonline.com if ou are not from us. that sucks. I will make a copy of the questions in my next quiz and I will post them somehow in a txt or directly as there are like 20 questions per quiz and all the time different questions and different answers.

@rari458

I will try that but there are some questions that tilt me and the answers are not there. Thanks for the reply!

@alaynebarros

I agree. Some of these answers are so crazy explained in details that you need like 2 minutes to read AND understand all the context.

I tried. I can. I did. So, I could try and look at them. Do you know what quiz it is? Or does it only show up after I pass all the other quizzes that are there when you first start?

I swear, at one point I wanted to sign up and wasn't allowed. But, maybe I was doing something wrong.

Edit: Maybe I was correct. I keep getting a popup about there being a problem with my account and needing to contact support. I emailed them, we will see.

Looks like I was right.
Thank you for your email.
Kindly note that due to regulation restrictions, Poker School promotions such as quizzes, league prizes and other type of promotions are not available for US members. Unfortunately, the 'Poker Assessment Quiz' is affected by those restrictions as well.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Thank you for your understanding.

Regards,

So, it looks like I can register there but not take any quizzes or do much of anything except read and watch their videos.

Edit: So, yeah, if you come across a question you don't like. Copy it and the answers into a document (or screenshot it) and post it here. I'll see if I can make sense of it. If not, maybe someone else could.

As an update I actually managed to pass all the quizzes BUT with a lot of guessing on the situations. They give you some situations like positions blinds stack and hands and you need to choose what you can do. The problem is I was smart enough to submit whatever they think it's the good answer but in fact from 6 players at a table maybe 4 of them will take different decisions. Here's an example - Like calling from the MP with 9 10 suited. The correct answer for them is not but I don't really agree especially if I start to know they players play style.

It let me take the omaha quiz, and I remember at least one question where I disagreed with them. I was also annoyed by their focus on outs to the nuts. For example, this is roughly what I remember from their questions.

You hold :jh4::jc4::3h4::2c4: on a board of :9s4::10d4::js4: how many cards on the turn will give you the nuts? They want 1 (the jack of diamonds), because a 10 or a 9 could make someone else quads. And, while it is true that quads is [usually] the nuts on paired board, the top full house is freaking awesome on that board. This is like questions in school where there is an answer that is "technically" best, but it's meaningless because you almost never need to be that specific.*

There was another one, where they asked how many nut outs you had and give you the options 1, 3, . . . and so on. The problem was that you had 2 nut outs. The nuts on the turn would be top set (so long as a flush didn't come in). Well, you had a pair of kings and one of them was the flush suit, so either King left in the deck gives you the nuts and won't bring the flush in. But, I think the question didn't notice that and wanted you to subtract the king that brought the flush in.

Anyway, poker quizzes always have things like that.

* It is always good in omaha to know what the absolute nuts are on every street, but you can't play thinking that you must hit the absolute nuts.

I passed the Omaha quiz also but I don't remember that question. I remember as I said I write exactly what they want to hear. but so this you need to pay attention to the details like "what are the outs for a straight for the flop" they give you indications that they are interested in a specific number of cards to make straight flush etc. on the flop. Exactly why I made this Thread so people that have problems in there passing quizzes to write it here and we can all check it out. Unfortunately for me I passed them and I can't write them in here anymore. But now that I know what they want I can help others.
