It will help your game if you use it correctly

does it give info about villan while playing them??
Yes...thats the whole purpose of it

do they have info on me whle playing me??
Ofc! You want to have info about others but dont wont others to have info on you? :)

does most players have them?
Probably. Especially at higher stakes.

If you dont want to spend money now, you can try HM2/PT4 30days trial. And there is also an open-source tracker called FreePokerDB written in Python (its free). The configuration can be a bit "frustrating" but its doable. Even the HUD configuration is weird but it comes with good preconfigured ones both for cash and tournaments tables so there is no need to do it manually. It has a simple hand replayer, stats databases and Matlab-style graphs.

At 5NL I would suspect a few of the players at your table are using a Tracker. A Tracker will definitely help you if you are multi tabling a lot. It will also help you work on your game by being able to review hands and find spots that you are leaking. Like Fknife said, download either Holdem Manager or Poker Tracker and try their trials to see which one you like. In the long run I feel like it's one of the best investments you can make in to your game if used properly.

Trackers are good. I'd invest in one at the smaller stakes if you plan to play for a long time and you can afford it.

If you're not sure how long you'll play for, just keep playing and come back to a tracker (30 day trial is good too) at a later date.

I personally prefer PokerTracker 4. Holdem Manager 2 is also good. I would not consider anything other than those two.
