Hi all - I have just decided to become a full-time poker player recently and I am going to aim for the wsop 2017. Any suggestion where I should start? Where can I look up all the upcoming tournaments?

Hello, you tell me how many years you play poker? What are the achievements so far? And then you can talk about the achievements of poker tops! If you play a year, and now think it is ready for the tops, then say what your bankroll? What ROI? On what lemite you play now? Enough questions? And now all is well just measure and assess their strength !!!!!

need more info...here's more about me... which i also want to get into better tournaments and cash games...
I have been playing poker for about 13 years... im 33 years old...lately has been very frequent as long as i have profits i am always looking to play... sometimes i would play 5 nights a week. I am good at cash games and am now learning how to strategically profit in bigger tournaments. strengths are in playing the player and following up on reads, running good(which is always a plus) and maximizing profits. Weakness includes tilt leading into overplaying and not slowing down, also bankroll management, and not stopping when im up a decent amount in cash games...
as of right now... i am starting from the bottom again, going to work with a part of my paycheck and try to win a lot from a little...i play home games, online, and go to atlantic city. Looking for the better tournaments with lots of players, better cash games with high chance against weaker (fish) , etc...
By the way, i live in NJ and my 888 and WSOP accounts are inactive because of debt, so im down to only partypoker for online.
Thanks in advance, ttyl :)

That's correct. Is not simple become a pro player just because you decided to be a full time player. You must know your profile and your achievments to know where, how and how much you can spend in your buy ins tournaments.

I know that I am not so good to become a pro yet so far. I have a long road to pursue before talk about this.

I have been playing occasionally for about 10 years but never been to any tournaments before. I play mostly 1-2 nlhm in casinos and usually My profit is around 100-200 after 3 to 4 hrs of play. I'm looking for tournaments with under 2k buy-in to start with. I have been thinking about that for a while since I started playing poker but never make such a big decision until now. I was planning to start from online poker but seems like there aren't many choices for me since I'm from California. I am thinking to invest 10k for joining tournaments in 2017 and hopefully I can get a seat from satellite tournament into the next year main event. If that's not happening I may still go and join the other events. Any advice or suggestion will be appreciated.

Maybe you should take a breathe away from poker.

Few problems I noticed already;
1) You said two of your accounts for online poker are in debt? How does that even happen?
2) You are playing full time.. but don't even know where to find tournaments?

These are bad signs, I wouldn't play full-time.

such zeal is good, but this is not enough, you need to work on your game or just to make buy-ins and play WSOP 2017)
