What would be good poker simulator online where you can play against computer ?
I am trying to raise my tournament poker skills to the next level and need a tool where I can drill new skills without hurry. Sometimes I have to think about right decision 10 minutes.

Real poker games are too fast.

***Edit (adding some suggestions since other players are looking for this)

- advancedpokertraining.com has an an MTT simulator
- you can find a solver at GTO trainer
- Try the game governor of poker 2

I don't think there is any such site.

Serious players usually review already-played hands using hand tracker programs like PT4, HM2, or DriveHud.

You can make up any scenario you would like with an equity calculator, like the one here:
http://www.propokertools.com/simulations

PT4, ICMizer's paid version, and Sit and Go Wizard 2 (free trial) have ICM quizzes that test push/fold skills.

I do not want to analyse my game post factum.
I even don't want to play correctly.
I want to train an isolated skill in quasi real environment.
I could do it in cheap tournaments, but I need to think longer every of my moves and I don't want to wait while others make their play.

I'm afraid that with this method you will not achieve anything. You have to play with real people to learn something.

And, sorry for the question - what can you think about for 10 minutes? Counting pot odds, pots and odds is much faster - after some training, calculations are made in seconds. Means for such training I indicated in the previous post.

online poker is not chess, no one will give you that much time to think. You must learn to make meaningful decisions quickly.

Online poker (and generally poker) is a game with unknown cards. You never, in any way can not calculate the exact outcome of the game. Even on the river, seeing all the community cards, you still do not know your opponent's card and can only guess their options.

The only thing I can suggest are games made for a pc, or console(if you own one).
Look it up online.

They have an MTT simulator at advancedpokertraining.com. While it won't allow setting specific parameters for the isolated training you require it will let you practice away from real players to take that extra time needed for your decisions.

Dont think thats good idea! You dont need any simulators, you just need more practice! They are without emotions and cant get into the tilt, they cant make a stupid decisions like people do. Here you can find a lot of special events games (pokerstars Home Games) where you can improve your poker skills.

Real poker games are too fast.

thats the point of such fast games, you have no time for thinking like you want! But you can thinking after you make your decision ;) wrong or correct, and next time in the same situation you will know what to do for sure.

practice is the best way to study / Good Luck

Check out simple GTO trainer. What you’re asking about absolutely exists. It’s called a solver

I added some of the suggestions to the OP - any other ideas for him and others looking for this kind of thing?

Advancedpokertraining.com. is the only place that I am aware that has this. They just had an article in Cardplayer magazine highlighting some new features they have come out with.

I would try a deck of cards and leave it out on a table. You would have any amount of time to figure out what your next move would be. You could play heads up, or whatever amount of players you want at a table, too.

Hello.
I think it is impossible to become a successful poker player by training on the simulator. You need to learn how to make quick decisions, you do not need a simulator for this. Just play poker.

The advancedpokertraining.com simulator is actually a really good one. You can define a lot of parameters and get a lot of practice on the correct plays. You can customize parameters for mid - very large tournaments, player types and always corrects you on the right play to make. You may have picked a play that won more chips at a particular instance but it will tell you if it was incorrect.

The more you play on the simulation, the more you're trained on making snap correct decisions. And that's leads to lesser psychological burden, which helps immensely given the variance and tilt inducing nature of MTTs.

Edit: In principle it's very similar to how you train your push/fold decisions using ICM trainer if you're a more Sit n go type player.

Not a huge fan of advanced poker training especially for sngs/mtts think you are better off with a icm tool like sngwiz or icmizer and just reviewing actual situations.

Another one of interest could be pokersnowie. I don't know if this has MTT training components but it is vs AI. I remember once when Dan Cates had a challenge against it. I haven't tried it so if someone who has can give feedback that would be awesome.

I believe that you will not learn this way anymore on the internet you have several videos of poker taught to play in each position and taught to deal with all players style

Nah for begginers and learning I think a good book and 6 player max cash game against computer is the best way to learn and play. To give you confidences going against real people, In cash games.Instead of going straight in and playing a scared ABC poker style. And computer programs can have different playing styles

just watch a review of tourney with hole cards face up and you will learn ranges based on what you see then also you can takes deck of cards deal out hands face up do this based on how many players at table you usually are playing start seeing the card distribution to get reads on your opponents range and what types hands you should be playing then will have better idea of how you should be playing hands optimally run out flop turn river and think about how the pot should play and this game will seem a whole lot simpler

I have wondered about the same thing - surely there must be a simulator available without having to pay a subscription. I also agree that your "skills" are best improved by playing.

But there is knowledge to be gained as well. I think your "knowledge" can be increased with good information. I am hacking my way through my own version of a simulator for my own purposes. (i am just a hack as a programmer, so it is taking me quite a bit of energy, but I am making progress). I am not intending to use it as much for playing as i am for doing some macro level GTO analysis. My intent is to be able to run the same 1000 hands from different seats positions with different player attributes, to try and isolate from a macro level, which attributes/variables, have the most effect on the outcome, and are the most sensitive to variance. Obviously, this cannot replace playing against live opponents, but i feel that you have to a solid starting point.

If anyone knows of something like this, I could save myself a lot of trouble. If you guys think this is a waste of time, please share your thoughts.
