With almost anything in life, repetition is the key to getting better. I'm pretty new so I'm still trying to figure everything out. I was wondering if some veteran players wouldn't mind sharing the process that they go through when playing a hand. When playing your A game, it is usually the same set of steps and the same information that you look to gather every hand.

For example: figure pot, figure villains hand range, calculate EV against range, note player type and action, check HUD for XYZ stat, plug data into X program, and crush everyone.

I think that even if you are a beginner or a veteran everything depends on the mood of the player, you can calculate everything perfectly but still lose all hands when you least expect and be crushed by all opponents.

No, this is very true. I was just looking for others to share their thought process when they are playing their "A game". We all have a general process for playing a hand. I also understand that we modify that process based on play.

Haha, very good. I'll be sure to tag you as LAG in my notes. GL on the felt.
