Hi all,

I basically joined this forum to ask this noob question about the Poker Pot odds & Starting hands Chart at https://www.cardschat.com/odds-for-dummies.php

I have scoured the site and cannot find any instructions for the hands chart portion. I am specifically talking about the YELLOW boxes!

What do the following mean?
R<3
C>4

Also, is this hand chart suitable to 6max No-Limit cash games? I am starting at the microstakes (1cent/2cent blinds).

Hi. I believe that type of chart is for limit hold-em, not no limit hold-em.

R<3: Would typically mean raise if there were less than 3 people already in the pot, otherwise call.

C>4: Would typically mean call if there were more than 4 people already in the pot, otherwise fold.

I can't answer why there would be C>4 entries for early positions in the unraised pot column.

I suspect it may be kind of outdated even for limit games as there isn't nearly as much limping as there used to be (in my experience).

Thanks for the info. I guess the mention of 'CAP' should of clued me in that this was for LIMIT.
