Two things that kind of question me based on poker odds.

In a video I just watched with Gus Hansen having a K7 clubs, 2 clubs on the flop. Lederer was adding 3 7's in his "outs".

If he hits a 7, this makes him a pair of 7s by the turn card. Lots of the times you are beat with a pair of 7s on the board.

Another thing is a flush draw.
Lets say you have T9 diamonds with two diamonds on the board. One more and you make your flush right? What is someone has A5 diamonds. That "out" just cost you a lot of money.

I can understand the flush draw a little bit more than the K7 situation.

All outs are not the same. Some are "clean" and will either give you the nuts or at least a hand that is very likely to win. Others will improve your hand so you might win, but not necessarily. So these outs aren't as valuable as clean ones.
