So there are some sites with coaches and video tutorials, articles, etc. 2 that come to mind are PokerVT and CardRunners. I apologize if such a thread has already come about, I did search and didn't come up with anything.

I was wondering if anyone had a preference or a review of each and what is better. As of now, I'm partial to signing up with PokerVT because Daniel is the face of it and I've only recently heard of CardRunners. I'm hoping that some of you can help me make my decision easier.

If you play enough volume CR is free.

I can vouch for the value of Dueces Cracked, as can others on this site. Cardrunners is pricey, and intended for higher buyin levels.

But unless you've got the basics down, I wouldn't bother with a training site.

How much do you play at FTP? If it's enough you can get CR for free through - 5500 FTPs / month (they don't take them from you you just have to earn them) gets a free month. Partial months are also given so like 2750 gets you 2 weeks or 1375 gets you a week.

Awesome thanks, I was just about to ask if it affected rakeback.

DTB has a very good LHE community/vid library/forum/coaches (GiantBuddha ftw!) as well - I like the site alot.

Seconding NL's opinion regarding DC, very happy with the value.

PokerZion.com is a good alternative to the larger training. Less known and therefore less expensive, but the quality of the content is awesome. I recommend you give it a shot.

It depends on what you're playing (MTT, SNG, cash game).

For SNG - SitnGoGrinders is probably the best (not 'probably'.. it is)

For MTT - PokerXFactor is popular & a good site (also decent SNG on there), PokerPwnage is another excellent choice for MTT play.

Personally I wouldn't go for PokerVT (D.Negreanu).

I'll send you a link that has reviews of a bunch of the sites.

I didn't care much for SitnGoGrinders myself.

Previously geared more towards higher buyin... but.. have you checked out since Matt Glitlr joined the ranks there?

Amazing. I just received an email from PokerVT and Daniel's sell is pretty convincing. Even though he isn't one of my fave pros, I almost signed up right then and there. Fortunately my higher brain intervened and said you better check cardschat first. So I did and found this. Thank you PO! I'm curious as to the reasons you don't like VT.
