You can get Jeff Hwang's Pot Limit Omaha, Slotboom, and a couple of others.

Frankly, I think it's better to surf the internet, the strategy articles you can find are reasonable for a beginner.

Pot-Limit omaha poker: The Big Play Strategy by Jeff Hwang. There's a lot to digest in there but it's well worth the time taken to read it.

I didn't care for Slotboom's book as much. It's a non-standard strategy that has worked well for him but is not for everyone. Interesting read but I wouldn't recommend as much for learning basic strategy.

Jeff Jwang book is great for all levels of play however the strategies listed will not work at micro stakes. That isn't to say don;t get it (I think you have to own this for Omaha) just keep that in mind

It also covers LO8 and PLO8 in pretty good detail as well.

Just make sure you are getting the first book not his 2nd.

I'm personally a fan of slootboom's books but they are NOT for a beginner or someone trying to pick up the game for the first time.

Hwangs books are ok, but I'm not a super huge fan of them... I think you are better off reading various strategy articles around the net and I'd actually buy a month of deucescracked and watch some of the plo beginner series before I bought one of the books I think.

And to elaborate slightly.... Hwang's first book in particular is really good for picking up the game if you really have no clue what you are doing (absolute beginner) but I don't think many of his strategies work great at microstakes.

I second this - it's around $30 for a one month membership I think, and the Hellomaha and 2x6 series are, I completely agree, better to learn the basics of Omaha than any book I've seen.

I just joined dc this month specifically to learn PLO, can't say enough good things about the site.

Farha on Omaha

I like his attitude

they speak bad of this book, little real information

Who is 'they' please? True it is not a primer like Hwang's (a must read), but Sammy's go-for-the-stack play is basic Omaha. His attitude comes across clearly: Have no mercy, take no prisoners, push until they cry!!
