Could anyone recommend any books to improve my game at a micro-stakes level.
Thanks in advance :):)

I think it's better to watch a video about how good players play and read articles on poker sites. Poker is changing and what is written in books is no longer relevant today.

Crushing the mircrostakes by Nathan is always a good read and IMO the game changer to turn from red to green.

You can try more interactive way of learning and try our Online course, check the links in my signature ;)

Books

I have found that the Jonathan Little books on small stakes, cash games and tournaments are ideal for micro stakes. However, I would certainly be wary that poker books can date very quickly.

If tilt is holding you back then also check out 'The Mental Game of Poker' by Jared Tendler.

As another poster has said try to supplement books with videos, articles etc that are updated weekly or daily. You can sign up to several of the training sites for free and receive daily articles by email.

I just read David sklansky’s-theory of poker. Such an amazing book literally has such an in-depth explanation to every part of theory. I need to read more poker books, I think books are the key to all knowledge. The beauty about this book, is even though it’s so in-depth everything feels almost simplified. It allows great knowledge absorption

Essential poker math?

Would anyone recommend Essential Poker Math by Alton Hardin?
I'm struggling with the math side of poker and I think having a physical copy to study will help me learn.

Yes, the 30 day course on cardschat I recommend as well; it is certainly enough to get you into the micros with good success.

There are some good books that I recommend to every player:
Jared Tendler "The Mental Game of Poker"
Ed Miller "Texas Holdem for beginners"
Ed Miller "Professional NL Holdem"
Ed Miller "Small Stakes NL Holdem"
Andrew Seidman "The Easy Game"
Tri Nguyen "The NL Holdem Workbook"

Tournaments please, though I confess I don't really understand why there should be a distinction. :):)

There is quite a big difference but your comment does help me to have a better idea of what book(s) to suggest for you.
Personally I would suggest the Harrington on Holdem tournament books. Yes they are outdated but they would give you a better understanding of tournament play AND give you a foundation in which to work from. ... Also I'm sure you'd be able to order them up from your local library (if they don't have it in stock)
Vol. 1 & Vol.2

Agree with this.

Also in the micro stakes, you just table select with loose players on the table. Play with a tight range and value bet them.

Fold single pair hands to a raise.
