Can someone give me some poker advice?

I've read alot about poker and I think I'm playing right, I'm just sure there is more I can do.

I play 1/2 cent games and am trying to make a bankroll up to $100.

Patience - don't try to bluff very much at the low stakes since there will be a lot of calling stations - wouldn't worry too much about trapping, bet your strong hands to build pots.

For micro stakes check out Blackrain79. He has a website by the same name. He provides a ton of free advice and I've found his articles very helpful.[emoji846]

Also Doug Polk is amazing too! [emoji846]

Save your money and learn from someone who isn't playing NL200+ while you are starting at NL2.
Ask for a free half an hour preview from a guy who is winning at NL20 or something. He still can relate to your stakes and won't charge as much as someone playing way higher.

Ask him about a plan, what and how he is gonna teach you, his experience.
Get close with another student of him, work in a pair.

You will get a huge boost even after 1 session, so don't rush. Take a lesson, implement all the knowledge till it's automatic, then take another lesson. With each subsequent training session efficiency is declining.

Play a lot. Be ready to invest a lot of hours daily.
Hope this helps :)

My advice would be forget gto and balancing. Observe tables and try to exploit in rather obvious way i.e. over cbets - you 3b or float a lot, opps are tight - you steal more. nits are raising - you gtfo out of hand with wider range then usual. etc. Good Luck

Every 2 hours of study play 1 hour

I have to disagree with that. If you are new to the game and playing 2NL, simply practicing will benefit you more than reading books or watching videos. You should do SOME study of course, but most of your time should be spend at the tables.

How many times do I have of 1 cent out of 100 and even 200 and more. Then you lose. You have to be a professional to make money in poker. It goes to the units.I think it just has to be reasonable.

How can I give advice if you do not know how a person plays. If you want to have a deep knowledge of the game of poker, then find a teacher. Preferably not online.

just continue studying and playing. Poker is a marathon not a sprint and you will improve slowly every day.
